Dahua has launched a new series of PTZ domes. These SD5A PTZ cameras have a small size and lightweight structure and have optical zoom ranging from 25X to 45X optical zoom and resolutions ranging from 2MP to 4K. They are suitable for small and medium installations and can be used for a wide variety of AI applications.
The camera uses a completely black and spherical lens that is almost invisible to the human eye from 15 meters away. This prevents suspicious persons from dodging the surveillance cameras and alleviates the discomfort of people exposed to surveillance cameras in public places.
In response to the annoying noise generated when the PTZ camera rotates, the Dahua SD5A PTZ camera uses a special motor that significantly reduces the camera noise. This design provides insensitive and undisturbed surveillance, making it suitable for quiet places such as libraries, museums, galleries, etc.
Like other Dahua WizSense products, the SD5A PTZ cameras are equipped with an independent AI chip to provide users with enhanced intelligent functions. The camera is based on a deep learning algorithm and combines perimeter security and auto tracking to enable intelligent and accurate surveillance.
Perimeter security features allow users to set rules for people, vehicles and objects that help detect if outsiders are attempting to enter predefined areas illegally.
As soon as a human or vehicle enters the user-set warning line or an object appears / disappears in a certain area, the alarm is triggered and the system sends a message to the central station. At the same time, the PTZ camera will automatically track the target and capture detailed images. Thanks to the deep-learning algorithm, the number of false alarms is greatly reduced. Overall, this feature provides customers with professional, intelligent and sophisticated video surveillance services.
With the AI-powered auto-tracking function, the PTZ camera provides high accuracy and flexible tracking for different scenarios at different distances. The target trajectories recorded by the camera can be used for further intelligent analysis or saved as additional evidence.
Based on the deep-learning algorithm, SMD Plus can effectively classify people or vehicles in the image. It filters out false alarms caused by leaves, lights, pets and other objects, greatly improving the accuracy of the alarm. In addition, it also supports and improves the search of recorded images, allowing users to search and analyze the data history of people and vehicles more quickly.
With the above features, the Dahua SD5A PTZ camera provides a cost-effective and practical solution that meets a variety of surveillance needs - from quiet courtyards for long-range surveillance to dangerous areas requiring deterrence of approaching outsiders and intruders.
