Stid Secard training
In 2026, the demands and expectations for access control are higher than ever. Beyond preventing threats such as card cloning or tampering with equipment, customers increasingly want to explore innovations like mobile credentials and other gadgets.
Agenda
During this training, we take a deep dive into STid RFID readers.
In addition to the standard operation of an STid reader right out of the box, there are numerous configuration and security options available. Using the STid Secard software, participants will learn to:
- Customize the Wiegand/OSDP output
- Personalize the behavior of the LED and buzzer
- Configure the keypad or touchscreen functionality
- Initialize add-on modules for 125kHz, fingerprint, and QR-code
The training also focuses on various encryption options. DESFire, Mifare Sector, OSDP, SSCP, and more will be covered. Learn to replace insecure cards with secure, copy-resistant access control.
Additionally, the STid Mobile ID platform is introduced. Participants will become familiar with the mobile credential solutions:
- Mobile cards using BLE (iPhone/Android) or NFC (Android)
- The STid Mobile ID web platform
- The STid Settings app
This session ensures participants gain hands-on knowledge of modern, secure, and flexible access control solutions.
Purpose
After this training, participants will be able to configure the different features of STid readers using the Secard software and install and manage STid Mobile ID via the web portal and mobile applications.
