Genetec System Design Training

During this training, you will gain an understanding of the system structure, architecture, and licensing model of Genetec’s unified software, Security Center. The course includes a live demo and practical exercises to illustrate key concepts.

Agenda

  • Structure of Security Center (integration with Omnicast video, Synergis access control, and AutoVu license plate recognition)
  • Security Center architecture (archivers, client applications, roles, etc.)
  • Security Center Standard, Pro, and Enterprise packages
  • Additional applications such as Plan Manager, Sipelia, Mobile, and Federation
  • Hardware for access control
  • Live demonstration

Through exercises, you will gain insight into creating an initial proposal that includes video, access control, SIP-integrated intercom, and more.

A maximum of 3 registrations per company is accepted for this training. A light lunch will be provided during the break.

Purpose

This training is ideal as an introduction to Genetec Security Center. It is not a technical course, so programming and configuration will not be covered, and participants will not use the software themselves. The training provides a clear understanding of the structure of the different components and the licensing model.
