The gripping tool has a color code on the gripping elements. By rotating the gripping elements, the gripping tool can be used with most type of fire detectors. A universal joint ensures that the tool remains level with the ceiling. By rotating the Color-coded gripping segments to the right position, the gripping tool becomes suitable with following format of detectors: Yellow 64 to 76mm, Yellow and red 74 to 93mm, Yellow and blue 75 to 87mm, Blue 86 to 98mm, Blue and red 92 to 105mm, Red 98 to 112mm.
