Bosch FPA-REMOTE-GATEWAY secure network gateway. Pre-configured Secure Network Gateway for highly secure plug and play Ethernet connection to the FPA/AVENAR-series fire alarm panels, with included trial license for Remote Services (Remote Connect, Remote Alert, Remote Maintenance)

This secure network gateway provides a highly secure Internet connection to the FPA/AVENAR series fire alarm panels. The gateway is pre-configured for Remote Services using a plug-and-play connection to the FPA/AVENAR Ethernet port. When a fire alarm panel is first registered with Bosch's Remote Portal via the secure network gateway, a new trial license for all Remote Services (Remote Connect, Remote Alert and Remote Maintenance) is created and assigned to the system technician's account, where it must be activated for the specific FPA/AVENAR system. Remote Services provide three services for system technicians : 1) Remote Alert : When you enable the Remote Alert service, an FPA/AVENAR system sends relevant status information and events (such as alarms or error messages) to Bosch's Remote Portal. In case of an unexpected event, an alert can be sent to a technician in an SMS or e-mail, for example, so that relevant actions can be taken immediately. Not only notifications are sent, but also all events exported by the FPA/AVENAR network are stored in Bosch's Remote Portal. This information can be processed and analyzed to detect possible failures in the FPA/AVENAR network in advance. 2) Remote Connect : with Remote Connect, all maintenance and service functions possible with the Remote Programming Software FSP-5000-RPS for FPA/AVENAR systems are available. 3) Remote Maintenance : If the Remote Maintenance function is activated, revision of the detector and LSN element with support from the Remote Portal is possible. In addition, data from relevant LSN devices and FPA/AVENAR modules are collected and sent to Bosch's Remote Portal where they can be analyzed to offer preventive services to customers.
