Ajax has launched a dedicated desktop app for end users. The Ajax media player is also new, which is used to play back exported images. The Ajax Media Player is particularly designed to control the integritity of digital video files.

The Ajax software portfolio includes apps for security professionals and end users. Previously, PROs had access to a mobile app for system installation and a desktop app for professional monitoring and security management. End users, on the other hand, relied on a mobile app and an Apple Watch app. With Ajax Desktop, a desktop app is now also available to end users. With a larger screen, camera integration and intuitive management, Ajax Desktop makes security more efficient than ever.

Ajax Media Player

The idea that “seeing is believing” no longer holds true. Advances in video editing provide great creative opportunities, but they also mean that even the most convincing footage cannot always be taken at face value. This is why Ajax Systems is introducing secure video export. This new feature allows users to verify the authenticity of videos in seconds through digital signature integrity.  

The Ajax Media Player is a software video player developed by Ajax Systems. Its main purpose is to check the integrity of digital video files by verifying that their digital video signatures have not been compromised. The check is performed automatically. After playing the video in the player, the result will appear next to the file name. There are two options:

Verified - The file’s integrity is confirmed, and no changes have been made to the file downloaded.

Tampered - The file’s integrity cannot be verified, which means that the file has been altered or edited since it was downloaded.

Both the Ajax desktop app and the Ajax Media Player are available for Mac and Windows.
