Bosch Introduces New System Self-Test
Within the NEXOSPACE Fire System Explorer platform, Bosch is introducing a new feature: the System Self-Test. One of the key features of this update is that fire detection system detectors can be easily tested remotely using the Remote Fire Safety App. This allows system checks to be performed more efficiently without the need for physical presence on site.
The new self-test enables automated checks 24/7 that comply with the VdS 3860 standard. This allows system integrators to better plan maintenance processes and reduce the frequency of on-site physical inspections.
For safety managers, the feature provides greater insight and assurance thanks to documented test results. The solution integrates seamlessly with the AVENAR and FPA Bosch systems, eliminating the need for additional hardware.
In addition to the introduction of the System Self-Test, additional optimizations have been implemented in the platform. For example, it is now easier to start run tests, email notifications have been expanded to include more status information, and navigation has been improved. Connection history can now also be exported as a PDF.
The new feature is available immediately in beta for users with an existing NEXOSPACE Fire System Explorer license.
