Compact Explosion-Proof Camera
Hanwha has introduced a compact, AI-based explosion-proof camera to its T series. What immediately stands out about this camera is its compactness for an explosion-proof model. The camera is 57% smaller and, weighing in at 4.8 kg, it is 32% lighter than competing models. This significantly simplifies installation compared to larger explosion-proof cameras on the market.
The TNO-C8083E is Hanwha Vision's first explosion-proof camera equipped with AI capabilities, featuring a specially adapted Q series camera module for this new model.
Enhanced Video Quality
The TNO-C8083E supports enhanced video quality through advanced Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) technology, WiseNRII, and a special noise reduction feature developed by Hanwha for low-light scenes.
Metadata Generation
The camera also generates metadata, capable of distinguishing between people and vehicles, and recognizing vehicles as cars, buses, trucks, motorcycles, or bicycles. This data can be sent to VMS/NVR for advanced search, significantly improving search efficiency and reducing the time needed to locate specific events.
NDAA Compliance and Explosion-Proof Certifications
The new camera offers a high level of cybersecurity and is NDAA compliant. It also boasts a wide range of explosion-proof certifications, including IECEx, ATEX, KC, and JPEx, making it ideal for high-risk areas with explosive gas or dust atmospheres, such as oil refineries and grain mills.
The camera also seamlessly integrates with Milestone and Genetec video management software (via the Hanwha Vision plugin), as well as Wisenet SSM and Wisenet WAVE.
