Hanwha Vision launches compact cameras with AI and Dynamic Privacy Masking, ideal for public transport.

The new cameras feature powerful AI analysis, colour detection of clothing and vehicles, and Dynamic Privacy Masking. With a height of only 55 mm, the cameras are discreet and ideally suited to areas with low ceilings, such as in buses and trains.

Dynamic Privacy Masking

The cameras can detect people, trucks, cars, buses and bicycles, alerting operators quickly to, for example, unwanted vehicles at loading bays or potential intruders along railway lines or other high-risk areas. Colour detection adds additional context, for example in forensic investigations or live monitoring, by classifying vehicles and garments by colour.

Virtual AI analysis, such as area detection and line crossing, allows operators to receive notifications when persons or objects enter predefined zones or cross lines. Besides security, the cameras can also provide valuable insights for other business processes such as operations management, sales and marketing. 

Robust solution for vehicles
The cameras are specifically designed for use in vehicles and feature digital image stabilisation and a built-in gyro sensor, allowing them to deliver sharp images even during movement, such as in a bus or train. The built-in heater and defog function ensure clear shots in almost all conditions. 

In terms of cybersecurity, the cameras are equipped with advanced security features such as user and network authentication, firmware protection and encrypted communication. This protects data from unauthorised access and prevents brute force attacks.
