Hanwha Vision has expanded the X series with a range of new second-generation AI cameras featuring the powerful Wisenet 9 system-on-a-chip (SoC). These new models combine advanced artificial intelligence with enhanced image quality and intelligent video analysis. The new models are varifocal cameras with built-in infrared, and are available in 5 and 8 MP, dome, bullet and vandal-proof dome versions.

The new X-Series AI Gen2 cameras feature the Wisenet 9 chipset, developed entirely in-house by Hanwha Vision. This gives them maximum control over performance, image processing and artificial intelligence functionalities. The cameras are also equipped with advanced object recognition and analysis functions.

Thanks to AI-based noise reduction (WiseNR II), blurred and grainy images due to low light levels are considerably reduced. Integrated extremeWDR technology ensures that details remain clearly visible even in difficult lighting conditions, such as scenes with simultaneous shadows and backlighting.

The Wisenet 9's dual Neural Processing Unit (NPU) ensures that image quality and AI analysis work independently in parallel, without compromising performance. In addition, the cameras offer extensive AI analysis functions for a variety of applications, including recognition of people, vehicles and license plates, as well as detection of specific individual behaviors, such as loitering and falling.

For situations where privacy is paramount, AI Dynamic Privacy Masking (DPM) ensures that personal data is protected in real time on the device itself. In addition, the cameras support a variety of business intelligence functions, including people and vehicle counting, queue management and heat map generation.

All cameras in this series feature FIPS 140-3 security level 3, for optimum cybersecurity.
