New Bi-Spectrum AI Cameras with Radiometry

Published on: 08-07-2024

Hanwha Vision introduces a range of Bi-Spectrum AI cameras with radiometry. These cameras offer standard video display and thermal imaging in one device.

The new models, suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications, ensure accurate surveillance even at night or in very difficult weather conditions. They are equipped with AI-based object detection and temperature monitoring. Thanks to the high level of security and surveillance, the cameras are applicable in various vertical markets, including data centers, manufacturing and industrial facilities, airports and seaports, and utilities.

All-in-One Bi-Spectrum Camera
By integrating standard video display and thermal camera surveillance into one device, users can display both views with a single camera. This allows not only visible changes to be captured but also invisible issues, such as unexpected temperature changes in manufacturing processes. It is the optimal solution for proactively preventing potential fires and damage to equipment from overheating.

The Bi-Spectrum cameras also support continuous monitoring of people and objects with thermal video, even in situations where visible video surveillance is not possible, such as complete darkness or fog.

AI-Based Accurate Object Detection
The cameras utilize thermal imaging and AI-based object detection to further improve the accuracy of monitoring people and vehicles. The AI technology minimizes false alarms and allows operators to respond quickly and accurately to potential hazards. AI-based object detection is available on the visible channel for indoor models and on both the visible and thermal channels for outdoor models.

Wide Temperature Monitoring
The cameras can detect a wide temperature range from -20°C to 130°C, making them suitable for facilities dealing with high temperatures, such as production facilities. Alarm notifications are generated and sent via push messages to users when the temperature of one of the preconfigured Regions of Interest (ROIs) exceeds or falls below the user-defined value. This enables early detection and reliable monitoring of equipment that requires regular inspection and facilities or processes at risk due to heat sources.

With the launch of the Bi-Spectrum AI Radiometry Thermal Camera, Hanwha Vision offers an innovative solution integrating visible and thermal imaging, AI-based object detection, and wide temperature monitoring. The camera also contributes to fire prevention and facility safety management while improving the efficiency of security and surveillance.
