New firmware version IRIS-4
AddSecure announces a major development in their portfolio: the new firmware version 4.24.3 for AddSecure IRIS-4 terminals. This is the most significant update since the introduction of these terminals in 2007 and reflects AddSecure’s commitment to secure, flexible, and future-proof alarm transmission.
Key innovation: support for SIA DC-09
With this update, the IRIS-4 terminals now support both the IRIS protocol and the widely used SIA DC-09 protocol. This offers significant benefits:
- Dual protocol support:
Choose between IRIS or SIA DC-09 depending on your system requirements. - Improved interoperability:
Seamless integration with alarm receiving centers (ARCs) using the SIA DC-09 protocol. - Future-proofing:
Complies with modern integration standards. - Flexibele configuration:
Select the appropriate protocol per account or signal path.
Important note: when the IRIS terminal reports via the SIA DC-09 protocol to a receiver other than the AddSecure ISA, certain functionalities of the ISA Portal are no longer available. This includes features such as remote diagnostics, log files, signal analysis, and remote configuration. This should be taken into consideration when choosing the protocol and receiving system. Firmware version 4.24.3 is available immediately for all IRIS-4 terminals.
You will find a complete overview of the update in the attachment, including the benefits and practical information for implementation. For updates, it is recommended to use the latest version of the reflashing application and Toolbox, and to remove any older versions.
