OPTEX has launched the REDSCAN Lite LiDAR sensor. The REDSCAN Lite RLS-1010L is part of the award-winning REDSCAN series from Optex and is an extremely accurate indoor LiDAR sensor designed for short-range intrusion detection in highly secured environments.

The RLS-1010L creates an invisible virtual wall or curtain up to 10 × 10 meters and offers precise, ultra-fast detection using advanced time-of-flight (TOF) technology. The detector reliably operates under all lighting and temperature conditions, even in complete darkness, making it ideal for securing sensitive indoor spaces that are difficult to protect with other technologies.

REDSCAN Lite is designed to meet the highest security standards and is compact, discreet, and easy to install. It provides seamless protection for confined or narrow spaces such as skylights, glass walls, server racks, ventilation shafts, or hard-to-reach areas.

Using advanced time-of-flight LiDAR technology, the RLS-1010L creates an invisible laser plane that provides total coverage for areas up to 10 m x 10 m, detecting both stationary and fast-moving objects in real time.
