Axis Technical / Commercial Introduction & Expert Session

In the morning, you will be introduced to Axis Communications, a leading player in network cameras and security solutions. You will gain a clear understanding of the company profile, the Axis Partner Program, and the extensive product portfolio, including its specific technologies, naming conventions, and tools. In addition, you will learn more about the Axis learning platform and the certification tracks that help you further develop your expertise. The Axis Camera Station applications Edge and Pro, including the licensing policy, will also be covered. Finally, you will discover how Axis solutions can be integrated with Milestone XProtect VMS and Genetec Security Center.

In the afternoon, following a short presentation on several technical and practical topics, you will work hands-on with the Axis hardware kit provided. Through hands-on training, you will gain the basic knowledge required to install and configure Axis cameras and the Camera Station Edge/Pro applications.

  • Overview of analytics capabilities
  • Cybersecurity features and recommendations
  • System maintenance and submitting support requests

Hands-on session:

  • Initializing and installing the hardware kit
  • Using Axis IP Utility and MySystems
  • Reviewing available settings
  • Installation and configuration of Camera Station Edge
  • Installation and configuration of Camera Station Pro
Purpose

After this training, you will be able to clearly understand, select, and effectively apply Axis solutions within a wide range of security projects. By completing the hands-on training, you will also be capable of technically completing your first project from an installation perspective.
