HID Signo & Linq training

Select a date

This training is the ideal starting point for working with HID readers, LINQ and high-security technologies such as DESFire and OSDP.

In the 2020s, the needs and expectations in the field of access control are higher than ever.
In addition to countering threats such as card cloning or equipment tampering, customers increasingly want to work with innovations such as mobile credentials and other smart devices.

Agenda

During this training, we take an in-depth look at HID RFID readers.

Besides the standard operation of a HID reader straight out of the box, numerous configurations and security settings can be applied. Using the HID LINQ on-prem software, it is possible to:

    • Customize the Wiegand / OSDP output
    • Personalize LED and buzzer behavior
    • Configure the operation of the keypad or touchscreen

Eliminate insecure cards and deploy secure, copy-resistant access control solutions. In addition, we cover HID Mobile Access and introduce HID’s mobile platform. Alongside mobile credentials based on BLE (iPhone / Android) or NFC (Android), the HID Origo web platform and the Reader Manager app are also discussed.

The training is mainly theoretical, but remains interactive.

We strongly recommend attending the training WITH the training kit. This kit includes a HID Signo U0 reader, an MDP interface and a USB-C cable.
Training kits or parts of training kits are not eligible for return or credit.

    Training objectives

Na het volgen van deze training bent u als installateur in staat om de verschillende mogelijkheden van de HID Signo lezers te configureren met de LINQ software en kan HID Mobile Access installeren en beheren aan de hand van het Origo-portaal en de HID mobiele applicaties.

    Participation requirements

No prior knowledge is required to attend this training. General knowledge or experience with access control is an advantage.

    Who should attend?

All stakeholders involved in cards, readers and the underlying systems within an access control project. This includes not only field technicians, but also sales, pre-sales, project managers, and others.
