Mini multi-directional 360˚ camera from Hanwha
Hanwha Vision has launched a 4-channel multi-directional camera with on board AI and IR. The new PNM-C16013RVQ camera offers 360° coverage with AI analysis. With a diameter of only 20 cm and a height of 8 cm, the camera is ideally suited for indoor applications in places with low ceilings, such as shops, shared office spaces and restaurants. The 360˚ image, in combination with IR and AI analysis, prevents blind spots and provides clear and uncluttered images in all lighting conditions.
Intelligent video analysis
The AI used in the camera prevents false alarms and provides real-time object classification that can distinguish and register people, faces, vehicles and license plates. Object classification also makes searching within the available images much more efficient, so operators can quickly find relevant images of specific events.
The camera is also equipped with virtual line and area detection. These functions can generate alerts based on intelligent object detection. For example, if a vehicle enters a preset area the system will notify the relevant operators.
Improved image quality
In addition, AI is used to improve image quality via WiseNRII, which reduces image noise and motion blur. The WiseStreamIII technology developed by Hanwha improves video management based on AI, without compromising image quality.
More, with fewer cameras
Multi-sensor cameras offer cost savings for both system integrators and end users because these cameras can replace multiple conventional single-sensor cameras. Furthermore, the AI analysis is processed in the camera itself and therefore less server space is required. The PNM-C16013RVQ only requires one VMS license, which also reduces operational costs.
Advanced cybersecurity
The camera comes with Hanwha Vision's gold standard for cybersecurity, including compliance with the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) and FIPS 140-2. The camera also has extra protection against malware and comes with physical tamper protection.
