How to add a user

Users with the appropriate permissions can themselves add other employees to their account at www.smartsd.com. Here is a brief explanation of how to do this.
Step-by-step instructions
- Go to www.smartsd.com and log in to your account.
- Go to user management:
Click on “My SmartSD and then ‘Colleague User Details.". - Add user:
Click on "Add user". - Enter the details::
Enter the required information for the new user. - Select the appropriate privilege for the user::
Select the appropriate privilege from the following options (increasing from least privileges to most privileges, more info below*):- Blocked
- Technical
- RMA
- Basic
- Net Prices
- Net Prices & Quotations
- Net Prices & Overview
- Purchaser
- Manager
- Finance
- New user receives an email::
The added user will receive an email to activate his/her account. - Activate account:
Click on “Activate Account” in the email and choose a password.
✅ The account has been created: the new user can now log in with his/her new account.

*More information privileges:
- Blocked - Users cannot access the system.
- Technical - Primarily for technical staff. These users can only download and view technical data, but cannot see prices.
- RMA - Same as above, with the addition that these users can submit RMA requests.
- Basic - Same as above, but these users can access gross prices.
- Net Prices - Same as above, but these users cannot place orders and only have access to net prices.
- Net Prices & Quotations - Same as above, but these users can create quotations.
- Net Prices & Overview - Same as above, but these users can view orders, e.g. finance staff.
- Buyer - In addition to the permissions above, these users can place orders, for example, buyers.
- Manager - In addition to the permissions above, these users can also manage and add other users.
- Finance - In addition to the permissions above, these users also have access to all invoices and order history.
