SmartSD has received the Gold Partner Award from Teledyne FLIR. The award recognizes the collaboration between the two companies and the growing role of thermal technology within professional security.

The applications of thermal technology have changed significantly in recent years. While thermal cameras were traditionally used primarily to maintain visibility in challenging lighting conditions, they are now increasingly being deployed as part of perimeter security projects and for the detection of potential threats. SmartSD and FLIR complement each other well in this respect: FLIR brings its expertise in thermal technology, while SmartSD contributes its knowledge of the security market and provides direct support to installers with their projects.

The Gold Partner Award was presented on Thursday, August 6, at SmartSD’s office in Merchtem by Paul Spronk, Sales Manager Security Solutions BeNeLux & DACH at Teledyne FLIR. Jan Berx, Product Manager at SmartSD, accepted the award on behalf of SmartSD.

The award confirms the strong collaboration between the two companies and their shared focus on further developing the possibilities of thermal technology within the security sector.
