The Bosch Video Management System (BVMS) is a unique IP video surveillance solution that offers seamless management of digital video, audio and data over any IP network. BVMS 10.0 has just been launched and now also makes personal identification possible! It also offers integrated access control, improved levels of data security and privacy, improved monitor wall functionality and greater flexibility with ONVIF Profile S certification.

New: person identification
With person identification, the user can enter details and data of persons of interest into BVMS, thereafter making it possible for these individuals to be identified when they enter the cameras’ field of view. 

Integrated access control
The Access Management System (AMS) is access control software and has been developed for medium to large-sized applications. Thanks to integration with BVMS 10.0, it is possible to apply video verification and to grant or deny access to persons. 

Data security and privacy
By taking extra security measures, BVMS 10.0 ensures all communication channels and stored information is secured using state-of-the-art IT technologies. Data in transit is protected by encrypting the data directly at the edge, as well as encrypting all communication paths between crucial system components, to significantly reduce the risk of third-party attacks. The protection of stored data is achieved with AES encryption, which effectively prevents data from being accessed by unauthorized persons.
           
Enhanced monitor wall functionality
The BVMS Monitor Group offers operators flexible control over the content of their video wall. They can also choose to have the system automatically switch based on predefined scenarios.
           
ONVIF Profile S certification
Thanks to certification as an ONVIF Profile S client, BVMS 10.0 can configure, request and control video streaming via an IP network from all Profile S certified devices.
