New 12MP fisheye cameras from Hanwha
The Wisenet XNF-9010RV and XNF-9010RVM 12MP fisheye cameras are the latest additions to the range of Wisenet X cameras equipped with Hanwha Techwin's Wisenet7 chipset.
The Wisenet7 chipset includes technologies that significantly improve the cybersecurity of Wisenet cameras and is UL CAP (Cybersecurity Assurance Program) certified. This allows Hanwha Techwin to guarantee users that their confidential data is safe from hackers.
Wisenet7 also ensures that the two new fisheye cameras, with built-in IR illumination, are capable of capturing excellent quality images regardless of lighting conditions. A new extreme WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) function uses new technologies for local contrast enhancement and scene analystics to capture ultra-sharp images of scenes containing a challenging combination of bright and dark areas.
The mobile XNF-9010RVM has an M12 connector and is certified to the EN50155 standard, which means that it is built to withstand vibration for monitoring buses, trains, trucks and other modes of transport.
360 degree view
Both cameras have integrated distortion correction and offer a wide choice of alternative viewing modes, including single and dual panorama and quad view. With the digital PTZ, pan, tilt and zoom functions can be used for specific areas for a more detailed view without losing sight of the entire 360-degree view. It also offers privacy masking, a 12 VDC and PoE function. If the network connection is interrupted, the images are automatically recorded on an optional internal SDXC storage in order not to lose any images.
The two cameras not only provide a powerful tool to deter and detect criminal activity, but are also equipped with specialized applications that allow users to get much more out of their video surveillance systems. The video heatmap analysis, people counting, and queue management supports businesses in the retail sector, among others, by identifying opportunities to improve productivity, better understand customer behavior, and improve the customer experience.
