New 4K, AI bullet camera from Hanwha
Hanwha has introduced a new 4K, AI bullet camera to the P-range. This highly comprehensive bullet camera features a powerful 31x zoom lens and infrared illumination with a maximum range of 70 meters.
The built-in AI with deep learning provides precise object classification for humans and vehicles, as well as detection of specific features such as age, gender, and clothing. AI further enhances the PNO-A9311R with intelligent analytics, including vehicle counting, crowd counting, slip and fall detection, queue management, and detection of line crossings in virtual areas.
Vehicle counting
The vehicle counting feature supports smart city centers and transportation systems by facilitating smooth traffic flow. Understanding the number of vehicles on roads and in parking lots can be very useful for transportation activities and planning. By utilizing data from the PNO-A9311R, local administrators can develop plans for road maintenance and routes.
Crowd counting
Safety and security are of utmost importance in crowded areas. Using the crowd counting feature, operational teams can manage the risks of overcrowded areas in venues such as stadiums or city squares in real-time. This is achieved by collecting metadata generated by the camera in defined counting zones.
Queue management
Businesses can manage wait times for customers queuing in a specific area. When the number of people exceeds the acceptable threshold set by the user, operational teams can be alerted.
Slip and fall detection
Slip and fall detection allows users to generate an alarm if a person falls within a predefined area. This automatically alerts operators, promoting health and safety in the workplace and can be useful for monitoring stores and factories, for example.
