OPTEX is expanding its range with the new TXI Series: a range of advanced curtain detectors for reliable outdoor detection. The detectors have been developed for perimeter security at residential properties, commercial premises and industrial sites.

The TXI Series combines accurate person detection with a significant reduction in false alarms caused by weather conditions, vegetation, birds and small animals. Thanks to the new Triple AND Logic, three independent detection zones are analysed simultaneously, enabling human movements to be recognised even more reliably.

The detectors create a narrow detection zone along building facades, ensuring that an intruder is detected before they even reach the premises. In addition, OPTEX’s renowned SMDA technology ensures excellent pet immunity and reliable performance in a wide range of weather conditions.

The TXI Series is suitable for installation at heights of up to 4 metres, features tamper protection and is available in both wired and wireless versions. The wireless models are also ideal for refurbishment projects or for locations where cabling is not possible.
