New release V2.10 ACT Enterprise

Published on: 06-01-2020

Vanderbilt has released a new version 2.10 of the ACT Enterprise access control software. Vanderbilt continues to improve and expand the ACT Enterprise software, in order to offer the user more and more useful functions. This update can be downloaded for free through www.smartsd.com.

The following new features have been added to this version:

Smartphone credentials
Issuing credentials to smartphones that can be used with the new Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) readers from Vanderbilt.

User limit for cards
Each card can now be limited to a maximum number of times it can be used per set period. This can be applied, for example, for access to a gym on the basis of a specific subscription.

Whitelist for card holders
Cardholders that are placed on the whitelist have access to a building at all times, regardless of whether a card reader is blocked or if the system is in “Lock-down”. This function can be used for rescuers in case of emergency. Specific doors can be excluded from this function, such as the door of the room to the safe.

Door open after first card
Suppose the front door of a building is unlocked by the system from Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Often the door is automatically unlocked at 7 o'clock in the morning, regardless if someone is present. By activating this new function, the door will only be unlocked and remain unlocked when the first valid card is presented after 7 am.
