The new Wisenet PNM-9000QB camera module is designed for the protection of ATMs, retail and other hidden detection applications against fraud and theft. It is a cost effective, hidden video surveillance solution for ATMs and retail.

External camera modules consist of an image sensor camera with a fixed pinhole or fisheye lens. They are designed to be installed seperately from the other components of a video surveillance camera. They can therefore be used discreetly at an ATM and placed in other tight spaces or in a corner of a room or elevator using mounting brackets.

Thanks to the powerful Wisenet7 chipset, the PNM-9000QB camera box can simultaneously process images from 4 external camera modules. Because less cable and switches are required, the module is cost-effective and because the camera box has only one IP connection, only one VMS license is required.

Network security
When the camera modules are connected through specially designed cables and installed on the other side of a wall on the camera box, they are completely isolated from the network. Additional protection is available in the form of tamper detection, which generates an alarm if someone covers one of the camera lenses or changes its angle. The tamper detection function is included in the suite of the IVA module (Intelligent Video Analytics), as is the detection of defocus, movement and people loitering.

High quality images in low light
The Wisenet7 chipset is equipped with the latest 'extreme' WDR technology (Wide Dynamic Range) from Hanwha Techwin. This works up to 120 dB, allowing the external camera modules to capture clear and sharp Full HD images even in highly contrasting light conditions.

Bandwidth and Edge recording
With the support of WiseStream II, the bandwidth required to transmit images is significantly reduced, eliminating additional costs for users to upgrade network capacity. Two Micro SD / SDHC / SDXC slots make it possible to store up to 512 GB of video or data if communication between the PNM-9000QB and a Wisenet NVR is disrupted.
