Should the drive fail during the warranty period, than register it with Seagate and the drive will be collected by UPS and analyzed in the lab. All errors caused by, for example, virus, human error, software related errors, mechanical damage, vandalism, etc. are covered. In the Seagate lab, if possible, your data is restored, encrypted, put on a new drive and returned to you, all in accordance with the rules of the GDPR.
