SmartSD welcomes Sergio Römer as its new Category Manager – Connected Services. In this role, Sergio will focus on further expanding SmartSD’s offering in Connected Services, strengthening collaborations and creating added value for our partners.

This includes connectivity, networking, IoT and solutions based on broadband connectivity. By combining connectivity, networking and hardware in smart ways, SmartSD aims to develop future-ready solutions that enable our partners to offer their customers even better services and solutions.

Sergio has been active in Telecom and IoT for more than 25 years and has gained extensive experience both on the provider side, including at Tele2 IoT, and as an entrepreneur. Over the years, he specialised in developing and managing IoT and Connected Services solutions, ranging from compact applications to large-scale systems, with a strong focus on connectivity, partnerships and growth.

With this knowledge and experience, Sergio will help shape and further develop Connected Services at SmartSD, together with our partners and the SmartSD team. We are very pleased to welcome him and wish Sergio every success in his new role. We look forward to everything we will achieve together!
