Mobotix introduces the Mobotix 7 Video System platform. This is a scalable, modular and intelligent platform for various applications with which cameras can be controlled intelligently. The first new camera that supports the platform is the M73.

What is special about Mobotix cameras is that they have a complete system on board. This is no different with the M73. The standard options can be expanded with apps. These are applications that can be developed not only by Mobotix, but also by partners of Mobotix. There are already apps available for counting people, entering zones, heat mapping and for estimating age and gender. Overcrowding, fire and smoke can also be detected with separate apps. Cameras can thus be made suitable for security, but also for commercial applications in stores and for monitoring traffic.

M73
The new M73 camera has been developed on the basis of the Mobotix 7 platform and can be installed quickly and easily thanks to an ingenious mounting system. All optical image sensors for the M73 have a maximum resolution of 4K @ 30fps. It has three openings for lenses or other applications. For example, lenses with different focal lengths can be used, but a PIR, speaker, microphone or IR spotlight can also be used instead. Compression is possible according to H.264 and H.265 (from Q2 2020) and via MxPEG + and MJPEG. The camera operates at temperatures from -40 ° to + 65 ° C. Power via PoE +. 8 GB of video can be saved internally. The housing is IP66 and IK07.
